Celebrities Mourn Avicii After He Died on Friday

Musicians and celebrities from the entertainment industry are mourning the Swedish music producer and DJ Avicii who was found dead on Friday, at the young age of 28-years old. In an official statement, his rep confirmed the sad news by informing everyone that the musician, whose real name was Tim Bergling, indeed passed away in Muscat, Oman. In the statement, his rep also asked for privacy during this difficult time because his family is devastated.

Shortly after the news about Avicii’s sudden and shocking death emerged, many entertainers and musicians from the industry mourned the loss of the talented young producer. They all wrote heartfelt posts and shared them on their social media profiles. From fellow producers like Zedd, Calvin Harris and Tiesto, to many other singers like Liam Payne and Charlie Puth, they all expressed their condolences. Calvin Harris called Avicii “a beautiful soul” and said that he had so much more to do. Zedd admitted to feeling extremely sad and sent his thoughts and prayers to the family of the late producer.

Musicians are mourning Avicii after his unexpected passing

Singer Aloe Blacc, who collaborated with Avicii for the hit single Wake Me Up, sent his condolences to his family and friends he left behind. Aloe revealed how meeting the producer completely changed his entire life and how thankful he is for that.

Singer Charlie Puth also paid a touching tribute to Avicii, the man who showed him what his productions could one day sound like, according to him. He even called him “a genius” and an innovator and admitted to still not believing that he is no longer with us. Among the other artists who mourned his early passing were Madonna, Nick Jonas, Marshmello, David Guetta, Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding, the band Imagine Dragons, Skrillex, Rita Ora, and Adam Lambert.

Back in 2016, Avicii retired from touring with a heartfelt letter to his fans. He was battling some serious health problems which probably caused his unexpected death so soon.
